Habitat Springfield's McAL Subdivision

The Model Community for Affordable Living (McAL) subdivision is a 51-house neighborhood built by Habitat for Humanity of Springfield and community partners. Development on the subdivision began in 1998 and was completed in 2006 using State CDBG and Federal HUD/SHOP grant funds for infrastructure. Construction on the homes in this neighborhood was carried out thanks to the volunteered time and work from Springfield community members.
