What is "A Brush with Kindness?"

"A Brush with Kindness" emphasizes the reduction of neighborhood blight, one home at time. Valspar has graciously donated the paint and we are bringing the volunteers. If you are in need of a coat of paint or would like some help with debris removal, give us a call. This program is ideal for senior citizens or other groups of the population that cannot keep up with the "small things". Below you will find an application. We also offer critical home repair for anything that would require skilled labor. So far we have replaced things like doors, floor joist, and other necessities. Our programs have always sought to promote dignity through partnership so there will be some "sweat equity" involved. However, this will be based on individual ability.

Sponsorships and Volunteering

Valspar has already provided the paint. Now we are looking for you to volunteer but don't put your checkbooks away. If you would like to sponsor our critical home repair program, we would gladly accept it. As the area's housing stock begins to age, it starts to need minor repairs. As these repairs get put off the bigger they become. If the homeowner couldn't afford them in the beginning they are less likely to be able to afford them in the end. Help us provide assistance by donating funds to purchase materials for those in need.
