Sophomore Alie Kowelman was walking back home from class Friday afternoon when she noticed something unusual happening on the Bear Paw - the walls of a house were being built.

The construction immediately struck her interest, so she stopped and decided to find out what was going on.

Kowelman quickly found out the purpose of the project was to promote the Missouri State chapter of Habitat for Humanity and the house they will begin building in November.  After finding out about the cause, Kowelman decided to join in.
