What about 2011?!
Well let’s see what was accomplished by volunteers in 2011:
- 30,000 + hours of volunteered time between: Construction of 4 homes, the Habitat ReStore, and 27 “A Brush With Kindness”Projects.
- 4 families now have homes – The Dickson Family, The Carpenter Family, The Barnett Family, and Estella Dudzik and Diana Archer.
- 27 “A Brush With Kindness” Projects ranging from debris removal to porch painting to whole home painting to ramp construction.
- The Habitat ReStore set new records for sales this year because of the volunteers who came on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure customers and donors had the best possible service.
- What do these hours mean in dollars and cents?
- 30,000 hours x $18.57 (Click for info) = $557,100 donated to the Habitat mission to eliminate substandard housing
