ReStoring Hope with Your Help

The Habitat for Humanity of Springfield ReStore is a building materials recycling center. Sales from the ReStore help Habitat Springfield carry out our mission to eliminate poverty housing in Greene County. Since 1999, the ReStore has helped fund over 40 homes in Springfield. But the ReStore can’t operate without the generous donations of time and materials from our community volunteers.

"WHY" Become a ReStore Volunteer?

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a great way to give back to the community and help save the earth. The ReStore, in 2010 alone, helped repurpose 949 tons of material that would otherwise have been placed in landfills. The ReStore is only able to help the community in this way with the help of volunteers like you! There are many ways to give back through working at the ReStore. You can show off your knowledge of plumbing while helping customers find what they need, show your strength helping load and unload product, put that smile and personality to work with customer service, and many more. REMEMBER, whenever you volunteer in the ReStore you are helping build decent and affordable homes in Greene County.
