"Six by Six" Challenge: Help Habitat Build Six Homes by June
Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, MO is working with multiple organizations, individuals, and businesses to complete SIX homes between March 1st and May 20th. This will ensure that those SIX families will be moved into their new homes before June 1!
Habitat has SIX wonderful families who have been working very hard to be ready for this "blitz build." These families have been attending Tools for Life classes, volunteering at the ReStore, volunteering on construction sites for other families, and they are now ready to get started on their homes with help from the Springfield community.

How Can I Help?
Habitat for Humanity has many avenues to help with the SIX BY SIX Project and we would love to have you join us. This project will be requiring a 1000+ volunteer spots to be filled, spots are filling up quickly, so contact us to save your spot on this amazing set of builds! General Construction Volunteer
Do you know what a hammer is? Do you want to learn more about construction? This is the opportunity for YOU! These volunteers get to swing hammers, paint, landscape and do do all the "fun stuff" with a time commitment of the day(s) you sign up for the build(s). Volunteer Construction Site Coach
Are you one of those people that knows what it takes to build a home and would like to guide others in the process? This is the opportunity for YOU! This opportunity requires more time commitment and more knowledge of the construction trade than General Construction Volunteers. Group Volunteers
Are you a part of a church community group, have a job that requires group volunteering, or simply have a group of friends that want to help build a home? This is the opportunity for YOU! Habitat for Humanity can accept volunteer group sizes of 5 people - 25 people. What a great way to bring your group closer together while bringing a house from a Dream to a Reality!
Habitat for Humanity Advocate
Would you rather not be on site swinging a hammer or painting, but still want to be involved in building a home? This is the opportunity for YOU! Advocating for Habitat for Humanity has many different possibilities: donating/cooking food for volunteer groups, host site supervising, assisting in finding construction volunteers, and many other options.
