Habitat for Humanity of Springfield is offering AHAP credits. What are AHAP credits? Missouri is issuing Affordable Housing Assistance Program tax credits as an incentive for businesses and/or individuals to participate in affordable housing production. The State offers an income tax credit to any eligible firm or eligible organization that donates cash, equity, professional services, and real or personal property to a non-profit community based organization. Corporations have many ways to get involved and help support Habitat Springfield’s mission. Corporations can sponsor construction of an entire Habitat home or can partially sponsor the construction of a Habitat home. Or, like many other corporations, your company can donate to Habitat Springfield by providing work groups of volunteers to help construct Habitat homes.
