Nationwide Recycling Competition

Each year Springfield competes against Habitat for Humanity affiliates nationwide in an aluminum can recycling competition. The grand prize is $50,000 to build a Habitat home. Since 2002, Springfield has raised more than $55,000 and recycled almost 3 million cans.  More than 100 business, schools, churches, and many other organizations and individuals collect "Cans for Habitat."

Want to help?

Stop by the Habitat ReStore during regular business hours to receive your free recycling bin.
